Nulu Louisville Engagement Session // Lauren + Garrett

One of the best parts of doing an engagement session is exactly what Lauren and Garrett did: hang out in their favorite places around Louisville, Kentucky including Akasha Brewing Company. These two love hanging out in their living room or exploring different breweries like Milewide, Akasha, and any others they haven’t been to yet. Which is why they love planning their honeymoon - driving around breweries in the New England area!

With a beer in hand to start this day off, we were all easing our nerves about the impending news we would hear later. The day we were able to take these engagement photos was finally a non-rainy day, but was also moments before we all got word to start social distancing. Lauren and Garrett did not let that get in the way of enjoying this day together!

We started at Akasha Brewing Company and made our way around the Nulu part of Louisville. Exploring the variety of murals that Louisville offers, we found quite a few that really made some great photos. Then, we headed down to Louisville Waterfront Park towards sunset - even though the sun stayed behind the overcast clouds. But we were all happy since it wasn’t too cold, too hot, or even raining. Just a perfect day for photos!
