Lost River Cave, Bowling Green, Kentucky Wedding // Sarah + Ben

I wasn’t even aware that one could have a wedding more beautiful than I’ve ever seen before in a cave, and Lost River Cave in Bowling Green, Kentucky was a perfect venue for Sarah and Ben. I mean, come one. A wedding in a cave?

This was the first wedding I've photographed in a cave, and I would hands-down do it a thousand times over. It provided a natural shelter and housing for the reception AND it kept everyone cool on this late summer day.

Sarah and Ben are the type of people you meet and feel instantaneously close friends with. Which is what I love most about my couples. When I feel like I know you, the photos turn out so much better than I could imagine.

A mutual friend tried to set Sarah and Ben up, initially knowing that we would be crazy about each other. Those two didn’t hit it off during that first meeting, but eventually met again a couple months later. They’ve been together ever since! Just shows how love at first sight isn’t everyone’s journey. And this fun-loving, outdoorsy couple had a beautiful wedding day!
