Gardens at Ray Eden Wedding, Kentucky // Mikey + Jeff

Mikey and Jeff had their wedding at the stunning Gardens at Ray Eden in Louisville, Ky - a place I now highly recommend my couples seek out for a wedding venue. This place is a beautiful estate tucked away from the world in the back of a neighborhood. But don’t worry, that doesn’t stop anyone from a good party!

Mikey and Jeff met the modern day way - online! After chatting online and phone calls for a little over a month, they had their first date at a restaurant in Lexington (which is sadly closed now).

And, how love stories have it, a little while later, Jeff asked the question and they started planning their wedding! Mikey did a lot of the coordination, which was spectacular. I think that was my favorite thing.

That and the atmosphere surrounding the whole day was full of love and happiness. Most weddings are, right? But here, no one was crazy stressed out. Everyone was just so happy and eager to celebrate.

Mikey’s favorite thing about Jeff: His heart, followed by his slightly twisted humor!

Jeff’s favorite thing about Mikey: He makes my world beautiful, literally through decorating and gardening. He makes me laugh as he just enjoys life all by himself. A little party of one. He has the best heart in the world. We come from the same world and have many of the same memories.
