Nashville, Tennessee Church Wedding // Kelli + Corey

The rainy day that early March brought didn’t stop this Nashville, Tennessee wedding at a local church for Kelli and Corey from being any less magnificent. In fact, I think it truly set the mood of feeling warm and welcomed inside. The most that these two were worried about was that everyone could make it to celebrate this marriage they had been praying over.

Both Kelli and Corey have such a phenomenal and supportive family. When I walked through those doors, I felt like another family member. I love how grounded Corey and Kelli are in Christ. They chose to not do a first look, but they wanted to have time together in prayer – which was one of the most emotional prayers I've witnessed. They both were anxiously excited for the ceremony, but the relief they had to finally hold each other's hand and pray over the marriage melted any worry away.

We had planned on using the surrounding area of the church to do a majority of the photos, but when the rain decided to not hold off, I found some particularly great spots in this church for some photos. Being a natural light photographer, it was actually a fun time finding the best spots in this church to make for some dreamy photos.

AND, while Tennessee brought the rain, I was still able to bring them both outside after their ceremony for some photos. I think that time alone continually built up their excitement that they were finally married. What a day!
