Frequently Asked Questions

What is your typical coverage time on a wedding day?

My packages very in amount of hours covered, but an average coverage would be 8 hours. That typically covers the end of you getting ready up through the first part of dancing.

Where do you live and how far do you travel?

I currently live in Highlands Ranch, CO and I love to travel for a good portion of my weddings! All of my packages have any travel costs included if you’re in the state of Colorado so you don’t have to worry about any hidden fees!

Can you travel internationally?

Obvi! If you dream of getting married on the coast of Greece, you better believe I’ll be there! My passport and luggage is always at hand so I can go whenever. Plus, there are some pretty killer discounts on international weddings as well as National Park weddings - ask me about it!

How do we get started?

If you feel like we’d be a great personality fit, then fill out my contact form! I’ll send you a pricing guide based on where your wedding is. Then we’ll set up a video call to initially meet and make sure we’d work well together. Just as you wouldn’t want a stranger following you around with a camera in your face, I want to be sure that our personalities will work well together! After that, a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and a signed contract is required to secure your date with me.

What do you deliver?

With all my packages, after I’ve photographed your big day or session, I deliver selected high resolution, fully edited digital images through an online gallery with unlimited downloads and a print release.

How and when do we get our photos?

I’m a photographer that HATES to hold on to your photos. I’m just as thrilled to get you your photos as you are to receive them! I work hard to keep my turnaround time as short as I can, but life does happen. Portrait sessions (engagement, adventure, family etc.) will be delivered to you within 3-5 weeks. Wedding photos will be delivered to you within 6-8 weeks. With all sessions, like stated above, you receive selected high resolution, fully edits digital images through an online gallery with unlimited downloads and a print release.

Will the photos be watermarked?

Nope! This is something you should always ask your photographer. Some photographers up-charge you to be able to own the original image without a watermark or logo on it. Which is a reason some can keep their initial costs low. You’ll get the selected fully edited, high resolution digital images watermark-free!

Can you hold a date for me?

Yes! I only book one wedding a day and mostly stick with one wedding a weekend so I can keep turnaround times short. To be fair, however, I reserve dates on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once you contact me about your wedding, that date is put on hold for 2 weeks for us to talk and connect. After that, the date is freed up for other couples to have an opportunity to book that date.

Do you have insurance?

YES! Definitely let me know if your venue requires it!

Do you work with a second photographer?

After years of doing this, I feel confident photographing a wedding day alone, but a second photographer definitely adds value. A second photographer of my choice (if you add that on) will take photos when I can’t be in 2 places at once. It’s also an extra security blanket for multiple reasons.

How does payment work?

I require a $1,000 non-refundable deposit in order for you to book your wedding day with me. After that, the remaining balance is split into two payments, with the final payment due one month before your wedding date. But of course, I will work with you to make a better payment plan schedule if you need it.

When should we have our engagement session?

Engagement sessions are GREAT! I encourage everyone to get them done, and I wrote some reasons why here. I typically advise engagement photos to be done 6-8 months before your wedding (or 1-2 months before you want to send Save-the-Dates if you want to use a photo for them).
