Intimate Indiana Church Wedding || Jess + Bart

I was contacted by this couple to do a quickly planned wedding, and the reason was heartbreaking: Bart’s mother was only given weeks to live. Jess and Bart had planned for their wedding later in the year, but wanted to move up the date so that his mother could witness it. I felt (and still feel) honored that I could help them out.

Jess and Bart were so cute all day – basking in the fact that they would officially be married earlier than they planned. Jess found a dress off Amazon for cheap and the family helped pull all the details together. Sometimes, quickly planned things can mean so much more.

The Monday after the wedding, the couple told me that the mom had passed away that morning, making that wedding and the photos that I took THAT much more special.
